dose anyone know if the hope saw disc rotor can be used with avid elixr brakes and vice versa?
The floating ones usually foul the calliper body where the rivet holds the two pieces together. I'm sure the none floating saw will be fine.
Floating Saw Rotors and Avid Elixir work fine.
I've changed mine and they work great.
Just need to get the spacers right so the bolts on the rotor don't catch on the calliper.
mine are the non floating version i think...

more specificaly im trying to use hope 160mm saw rotors with avid elixr r brakes. will they just fit straight in or will there be an element of tinkering involved to get them right?
They will fit fine.
No more tinkering than fitting any new rotor.
I run 4 bolt hope saws 180 front, 160 rear with my Elixir Rs. No problems whatsoever
