Is this degree of rotor wear surprising? Avid HS1 60mm rotors worn thinner by about 0.3mm over about 8 months daily road commuting use in Sheffield (bout 3-4 miles each way - a bit hilly but not drastically so) - This worn by Elixir 3s from new only using 1 set of stock semi metallic pads, well worn but not to the backing. It seems a lot of rotor to be worn away by this usage.
