Well I bought an Avid bleed kit and had a go at bleeding myself. firstly I shortened the hose (as the hose length is 150mm too long)and that appeared to go ok.
The issue that I have is when I try to bleed the hose I cant push the caliper syringe down its solid?. Iv'e checked on the SRAM website watched Utube and still the same issue?.
Can anyone help?.

this happened with one of mine
Disconnect the hose at one end - i always did the lever end.
Press the syringe forcing the fluid through then reattach hose and bleed as per the video.
This seems to work - sometimes it bleeds ok sometimes I have to do that sometimes I have to do that more than once.
I have no idea why but once done it is fine - last time was over 12 mths ago.
Thanks I will try that, Iv'e no idea why it does that?. So frustrating I gave up.
