Hi all,

With the new 20mm through axle wheel coming i may as well go to a 203 Front Rotor.
Can anyone advise if my current mount which is for a 185mm rotor will fit ?
Or will i need a different caliper mount ?
I currently have Custom Avid Ultimate 7 hydraulic disc brake with 185mm rotor.

Thanks

Paul

Different mount for sure.
Also, have you changed forks?
Do the new forks have a different mount type to the old ones?
i.e. IS mount to Post mount.

New forks will be post mount.
This one...

I've got an Avid G3 rotor you can have for £13 posted. Tis excellent condition, but if not happy in any way would refund anyway.
Shameless oportunism I know, but you did ask. 🙂

Not sure what standard the 2008 Fox forks were.
If the mounts are about 3" apart & bolts go front to back then that's post mount. 2" apart and left to right is IS.
Irellevant though. You need an adaptor to take your front caliper (whatever standard that is) up to 203mm post mount.
If your front caliper is post mount then takisawa2's linky is good.

08 fox have post mount. As above, you'll need a different mount for the larger disc.
