Can someone please tell me why, after the bike has been standing idle for a day or so, there's no pressure in the front brake lever. It pulls right back to the handlebars. To restore pressure I have to give the lever about 20 quick flicks and then it seems ok... until the next time I come to ride it. The rear brake is ok.

Do you store it hanging from the front wheel?

Needs bleeding, one of my Avids did a similar thing, if left or if i turned the bike upside down, one bleed and the problem disappeared.

Cheers guys. It's stored upright (wheels on floor). I'll get the thing bled and hopefully that'll do the trick - like it did for Bazz.
