I am looking to shorten an Avid Elixir hose. I do not know the age of the brakes but was wondering if the o -rings have changed sizes at all across the years?
Cheers

You shouldn't need any sort of o-ring to shorten the brake line.
Above are the line fittings. The compression nut (the largest piece) can be reused, so you don't need a new one. You need the other two parts, a tubing insert and compression ferrule. Both came with my bleed kit.
