I am trying to fit an Avid Elixir brake to the rear of a Specialized Epic, but the hose comes straight out of

caliper and fouls the brain part of shock housing.

Can I use a Goodridge kit with the banjo fittings?

Winstanleys have kit for £29 but for Juicys.

Or do Avid have banjo fittings to buy as spares?

Any help please?

Matt.

I thought you could adjust the angle the hose came out of the caliper on the Elixr?

Think it's only adjustable on the cr version. I've got elixir r on both my bikes and they're non adjustable.

As far as i'm aware, Goodridge don't make fittings for Elixir's. we've got nothing that fits in our official fittings kit(though we do have some that look as if they'd fit,but won't),as the hose mounting face of the caliper is recessed, requiring a specific part.
