I'm wanting to add some bb7s onto my Croix de Fer. Can someone tell me if there is any difference between the front and rear calipers.
Discount bike sell a front with 160 and a rear with 140 rotors. I'm pretty sure the Croix takes 160s front and rear. Can I just buy two front brakes?

The calipers are identical.
If you were to unbolt a brake/adaptor from the front, where it fittted a 160 rotor, and move it to the rear it'd only fit a 140mm rotor at the back as the spacing of mounts is a bit different
so you may need to get a different adaptor (I thought avid sold them as front [u]OR[/u] rear with both adaptors in the box, but your description suggests otherwise)
