Anyone own one or ridden one? I'm looking into one of their hardtail 29ers.
Thanks.
Bump 😕 .., Anyone ever ridden one?
Yup, have a road bike purchased from Australia 2nd hand 7 years ago. Going strong still.
I've got a steel KISS 29er which I keep in Brisbane. First model with non-suspension corrected fork. It's got an EBB which works nicely too.
Rides and steers very well, but the standard steel fork is very unforgiving. I tried a carbon fork but it was too long and slackened the HA more than I like.
The later model is suspension corrected so it should be ok.
I've ridden it in a few races there, 4 and 8 hours, and I didn't get too beat up even with the standard fork.

I have about 15 of the avanti 29.1s for my hire fleet.
The decision making you go through buying one bike is the same as buying 15 bikes. I hunted around and found they ticked all the boxes, look cool too. No mechanical troubles either.
Nice one good to hear, I'm mainly looking at the 29.2 so will have a front fork, 24 hour racing is my main focus but I already have a 29er FS I can use also. Any more users of their mtb's I'd like to hear from!
Just been looking at their current catalogue. Looks like they've discontinued the steel frames and singlespeed.
The alloy frames look neat though. I like the flattened toptube, it would make it easy to shoulder the bike.
I have an avanti as my second MTB. Nice light well made frame. But not happy with the gear cables going under the BB. Always worried about knocking the cables on a log roll/jump and they always get very muddy. Easy to clean though.
Pretty good value for money.
