With the weather forecasters talking about "Autumn" and the high temperatures of the summer an ever fading memory what jacket for autumn/winter riding do folks use/recommend?
Anything to avoid?
I tend to run (cycle) on the warm side so don't need anything too heavy.
For general winter stuff when it's not actually properly raining I just use a pertex-like windproof over a merino base layer. That will get you a very long way, add extra layers if it's really cold. I've just replaced an Endura Rebound with a Howies Dyfi, haven't used it yet though.
Basically try and avoid anything with a membrane in it unless it's properly wet.
