Holy crap. Did they cock up the design and have to modify it after all the tubes had been cut?

haha, to be honest I wasn't impressed with the state of the box or the way it was just shoved into the back of the Parcel Force van, bunch of jokers.

Curses! Thats set my angle-induced OCD twitching something rotten. On the one hand, I really, really like the straight run from the top tube into the seat stays. But... but... then they go and do that near the head tube. I'm very very conflicted now! 😥

Enjoy though 😀

An enjoyable weekend ahead i reckon.

I think you need to take another picture, which doesn't feature:

- brick courses
- window ledges
- waste pipes
- paving slabs

And ideally the horizon would be level. I reckon that'd help.

Quite like Mondrakers personally. 🙂

That's a lovely bit of pipe.

We are talking about the overflow pipe, right?

Although, what you plan on doing to it this weekend, I shudder to think.

Oh i don't know, i think the front tyre valve lining through with the DPC gives a nice sense of motion!

Looks more like a waste pipe to me.

I'm hoping Cannock after Uni, bit of a marmite design by the looks of it, interesting. 🙂

Everyone I know who's had a Mondraker has loved it, once they stopped all the bolts from falling out all the time. Cool bikes

Very nice.

Take note of what Northwind says. I have to make sure I have a 5mm Allen key at all times as I still have one bolt left that insists on coming loose, usually at the worst available opportunity.

Radical , less of the bike though , im a brickie and I spot a half in wall , allways a sign of a dilute brickie that !

Thanks for your comments, the good and the bad, it seems to divide opinion which I quite like to be honest. It's my first bike since I was 15, now 34 so it will be a good starter to get me back in the swing of things over the coming weeks and months. I personally like the looks and the feel of the bike, can't wait for the weekends proper fun and games.

Thanks for the advice re bolts, will keep an eye out. 😀

@bearnecessities - Thanks, sadly the M3 had to go to pay for my University fees. Hoping to be back in something nice in the near future, in the meantime I'm driving a 1.6L Seat Leon, 🙁

Your starter bike cost more than both my finisher bikes combined.

Enjoy 😀
