A big thank you to the trail builders! The new start ramp is great, as is the new rock garden and berm on the Black run. The new drop on Surface to Air is a huge improvement too! If you haven't been in a while get down there!

Never been to Aston, do you ideally need a DH bike?

Nope, but it's not much fun on a short travel xc bike. The trails are pretty steep so a slack angle definitley helps.
I ride it on a ragley blue pig with 150mm rev's and it's fine if a little bumpy (lots of roots)

Grapil will be fine, just put some good tyres on. I've ridden there on everything from hardtails to full on DH bikes, they are all fun, but different.

AM bike or Hard core hardtail will be fine.
