You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Specifically the one from Manchester Airport to Penrith, reckon it's a goer if I get the direct one but tough if I have to change in Preston... people wouldn't mind would they?
A new bike in a box? Should be fine - only a few things to do.
Hmm Virgin pendolino? Might be ok.
If it's a voyager set you'll have a job on as the bike racks are vertical in a little cubby hole.
bike will be in the Evoc off a plane so Rotors, bars, mech attached. Planning to wheel it in as luggage anyway.
Why can't you do it on the platform instead?

The direct trains are neither - they're First TPE, not Virgin, so it's a Desiro.
If you do it discreetly I can't see it'll be an issue. I'd avoid spreading out across the train though.
Those trains can be rammed. Whenever I've done the journey they have been TransPennine's diesel multiple units. Those don't have a lot of bike space and can be very very busy.
Just bring one of these instead?

In reality I think you have two chances, and you shouldn't bet on the second one.
