well ..maybe they have come back but i noticed my shadow mech guide pulley was no longer a self centering centeron type which always seemed a clever idea.
Just wondered if anyone knew why they disappeared ..or are they back?

I *think* it may have coincided with the charge to shimano pull ratios.
There is now a much tighter tolerance on the mech position, rather than doubling the shifter error. 1:1 ratio as opposed to the earlier 1:2, which will effectively double the error.
If my maths is right.
