Balloon Fiesta this weekend, so AC have opened the big black gate on the final stretch of the Nova trail. At time of writing there is no warning on the trail that cars are crossing - the guys directing traffic said there's notification at the golf hut, but that's little use when the only people riding there this weekend will have cycled in. Nobody driving in to the Balloon Fiesta via this gate will be expecting to give way to bikes.
Also worth noting there are suspension bridge closures this weekend.
I'm assuming that's the fireroad crossing point that leads up to the cafe/golf hut? I can't imagine there will be a huge amount of traffic on it as they won't park many cars up there and wouldn't let them in that way anyhow but cheers for the heads up.

Suspension bridge shut to everyone 6-midnight Thursday and Saturday. Likely to be heavy traffic and lots of restrictions on the roads and no parking throughout the weekend.
For those into the ballooning tonight and Friday are the best days to see something.
