I'm doing the Wildman duathlon at Ash Ranges on Saturday and about 1 month ago I posted on here asking about conditions. We've had a lot of rain since then, so has anyone been up there recently and how muddy is it?
Currently I've got a Maxxis IKON 2.2 on the rear and Ardent Race 2.25 on the front, but could change to a Ground control 2.1 rear and 2.3 purgatory front if required.
Thanks

Was okay last week. Just a bit sticky round the sandy bits. However there's been a lot more rain since then and a lot more to come. Though it's not heavily ridden round there with the flags up a fair bit at the moment so doesn't get churned up much, and like TH it holds up fairly well in the wet.

As above, no-one really uses it so it doesn't get churned up.

Until I moved a few months ago, it was my regular winter night ride venue as it drains well and sees very little use as allthepies says. I'd stick with the Ardent/Ikon combo.

Just looked it up. £32 for a 10K run? £54 for a duathlon?

And I thought Gorrick / Brass Monkeys were starting to get pricey when they reached £20
