Am down for the weekend - any 'must do' trails? I'm putting together a couple of loops to do whilst there... at the moment just picking random bridleways to make loops, but would appreciate if there are some essentials whilst in the area.

ta, Chris

The rough ride guide route is a goodun.....
It takes you through Arundel park and bought on forest, where you can deviate and play about on the trails there (denture etc)

Do you have gps?? Culd email you some good routes....

theres some nice singletrack in Rewell woods which you can link up into Houghton Forest. Start off on the bridleway by the gatehouse at the western A27 roundabout in Arundel & head into Rewell, aim for the SW corner over near Slindon.

Get over to Cissbury Ring, Chanctonbury ring and Steyning Forest if you can - the woods will shield you from the worst of the rain. YOu can park at Chanctonbury, ride straight up the forest path from the car park, then take a right just before the top into a singletrack blast down the Lion Trail.

Have fun!
