Bloody tubeless.
Went to the garage to find rear tyre flat earlier after 2 weeks of bike not being used, so pumped it up with a view to going out this PM. Went back an hour later to find it very soft. Just pumped it up pretty hard again and dunked in water working the wheel round to find the leak.....nothing! Valve also completely immersed. Impossible though as the ****er loses air inside an hour. Baffled.

Did you dunk deep enough to test if air is coming out the spoke holes?

Dunno then. Spraying with soapy water might be worth a go.

Can you not chuck a tube in it just to get you out for today? I get that the whole point of tubeless is to ditch the tubes, but it gets you rolling in the immediate term.

Has the sealant dried out or pooled in one section of the tyre?
I've got that Finish Line stuff which (in theory) stays liquid but if I've not used the bike in a while I try to give the wheels a spin every couple of days just to stop it all pooling in the bottom of the tyre.

If the tyre is still engaged on the bead I'd try squirting a bit of extra sealant in there and sloshing it all around for a while.

It stayed up so went for a short ride and was still up after it so all good. The odd thing was not finding where the air is escaping more than the actual cause of it. I fully expect a flat tyre before Weds night ride though🙄

There is a school of thought that some tyres have silicone mold release agent on the inner and the wheel milk cannot adhere to the tyre wall when its not being held there by the wheel rotating. If you spray the inner with isopropyl alcohol and wipe it well, the milk gets into the side walls and bungs up capilliary leaks. Alternatively just ride your bike non stop.

Normally find the best thing to do in that situation is pump it up and go for a ride to get the sealant moving around so it can do its job... but you did go for a ride & it worked!

What they said, I can do all the stans dancing I can muster and some tyres still go down. A quick ride though and they're sorted.

If in doubt I just chuck another scoop in and go for a ride.

There could have been a leak in some spot that got sealant splashed on it when you moved the bike so it sealed.
