Are their any that cut down to waterproof short style without haveing loads of material flapping about?
34 waist/34 leg btw
links appreciated
I have the German army flectarn ones, and I'd say avoid these for serious cycling. They're great as an overtrouser for commuting or hiking, but mine have no waist - they're held up with braces a bit like salapettes. Makes for a poor fit if you're turning the pedals in anger.
they are all odd fitting, and even if you are odd shaped like me they dont fit well.
legs are usually well wide and flap even on generous sized thighs.
I have these and they are grand.
Legs are wide to get em on over the clunky boots 😉
I have the RAF ones, not too flappy on my chunky legs, but they will be with skinny legs. As said above, better as commuting over-trousers.
