Recently bought a Saracen 15x frame to put a cheap (before factoring in a new bushing kit and shock service) build together. The frame is 142x12 and uses a shimano thru axle, so I got myself some wheels and ordered this:
It's too short!? The axle goes through one drop out, through the hub and then the threads dont extend out of the drop out on the other side. It's as if it would work if the drop out was threaded, but it's not and neither the frame or the axle are designed to work like that.
I'm stuck. I presume i've bought the wrong axle, anyone shed some light on it?

I have a 14x. It has 3 sets of dropouts. Maxle, some funny Saracen thru axle type thing, and standard QR.
Scunny,
I've a 15X frame (rear end bush is knackered). Drop me a mail if you are interested in a second hand bolt - i think i have 2 and the adapters.
