never bought anything from gumtree before, i can get a mate to meet him and have a little check over of them for stanchion wear or scratcehs, came of a boardman team fs bike

£230 seems a bit steep to me, especially when can buy new for an extra £30 - from CRC

Thats not the Maxle version on CRC. If they are in good condition, its a good enough price.

Yes, it appears they are the Maxle version. If so, and they are in good nick, they are decent value. Just check the steerer is long enough for you. 🙂

Nezbo, yes they may be, but it appears these are the Maxle version which are £495 on Merlin
