Im not fussed about an immersive pretend ride I’m just after something to help me do sessions based on a cadence sensor and heart rate monitor (fit bit) so I can try and make sitting on the turbo worth while rather than sitting and spinning and wondering if I’m actually achieving anything? Basically something to tell me to do X long at Y cadence and Z heat rate and to twll me when I’m achivining it etc and if I’m not. Etc.

Not an app, but the GCN training videos on YouTube are very good and do exactly what you describe. I used them happily for years before getting a smart trainer and a Zwift sub.
