I'm thinking trail bikes say 140-150mm travel.

From what I have heard from normal people that I actually know I don't really want 650b.

Stop being stupid & just buy the bike you want in 650b format

+1

If you are buying a full bike I see no reason to not get 650b

Orange make a 26" alpine still but not sure if frame only.

Speaking as someone who only has 26" bikes, I fail to see where you are coming from. Buy a bike for the bike it is, not it's wheel size.

I have 26" spares so if anything goes wrong I can swap things around.

Either way I don't want an argument about it. I'm just interested if there are still any 26" full builds on sale.

Off to check out the commencal now.

i think ROSE still do.... and those friggin ugly YT Industry things.

I heard 27.5 is the new 26 anyway.... I have a 26 and am currently feeling smug that in 6 months I will be 'retro' without a beard.

AV IT.

Spitfire.

One of the reasons I bought it was that it can be run either 26 or 650. Running it 26 at the moment safe in the knowledge that if I ever feel the need to go 650 I can.

Oooh a new 26" transition. Bit more travel than I need but sounds interesting. Any links/pictures?

The commencal v4 looks good but it also seems to be 650b. An evil is way too expensive. However I agree that it is lovely.

Spitfire looks fantastic but it if frame only and a tad heavy.

Can't find any pics on the web, but it looks nothing like the current Transitions, and there is no Covert either!

Is it safe to admit you still love your 26, even if its a trek?

Apparently not. Judging by this thread you need to jump on the bandwagon now.

Your only creating a rod for your own back by ruling out 650b bikes

Sure your better off for spares now but in a few years time when your ne 26er is wearing out there will be even less top end 26 kit about

I could see the point if frame only but full bike theres some ace trail bikes out there and the majority just happen to be 650b

Embrace the future

the bionicon edison evo..as it is in the NEWS...

and, I had a 650B frame...there is a difference between 26 and 650b
for this reason I stay with 26 and 29..
