[Closed] Are the Petit Balcon Nord/Sud directional (for bikes) in Chamonix?

This might be a dumb question but looking at the map (linked below) it looks like the Petit Balcon Nord has an arrow pointing West->East from Le Lavancher to Le Tour and the Petit Balcon Sud has one pointing E->W

Anyone know if there is an expectation (or rule) that anyone travelling west down the valley should use the Petit Balcon Sud?

Our plan (riding from Le Tour to Les Houches) was to use PB Nord until Le Levancher and then swap over. But if there's a one-way system in place for MTBs I wouldn't want to either upset anyone or (more importantly) spend all our time riding against the flow.

Ignore me.

I think I may be overthinking this.

Having read a bit more I think that's just the recommended direction if you're doing an out-and-back loop.
