Opinions appreciated expert or not.

These are X-Lite carbon riser that are 6 months old and have never been crashed. Torqued up correctly as well

Noticed this white mark today and when I run a nail over it, it feels like the lacquer is lifting up. Sign of a crack underneath?

Think I'd be asking X-lite about those.

How old ?

Could be a warranty issue

Don't look too good from here. Ask the shop where you bought them from.

Looks like a fault in the laying of the matting.

That's pretty normal on carbon bars. It's just cosmetic.

I'd rather be able to see the damage and start asking the questions over having a sudden breakage and failure.
Carbon is ace.
