Having trouble finding knee pads that fit recently

Im about 6 foot tall and 12.5 stone so definitely not the largest person thats ever tried to buy a set of knee pads yet the Fox Launch Pro in a size large (the largest size they do) are way too small for me, any recommendations for thunder thigh appropriate knee pads?

Ideally from Evans as I've got vouchers for them but whenever I've been in store their stock of kneepads has been very bare

Alpinestars Paragon could be worth a try. I found them very comfy but a bit loose around the top on my moderately sized legs - though they tended so stay in place. They met a premature end doing their duty and I replaced them with POC VPD air which are not as comfortable and definitely tighter around the thigh.

Poc VPD 2.0 come in XL... I have the L which fit my biggish legs so the XL must be massive!!

POC VPD 2.0’s here too, I’ve got legs that render anything less than ‘regular fit’ jeans an irrelevance.

I do find the POCs comfortable for all day riding, and after extensive testing can confirm that on my legs, they stay put when crashed hard.

They’ve got a handy chart on their site with actual numbers and measurement instructions so the numbers make sense that will let you know what size to buy.  Don’t size down or they’ll try to cut your circulation off, I had the most problem with elbows TBH. Apparently my arms are bigger than I think they are...

Find the exact opposite. 6ft 2 and 11 stone and find nearly all pads are massive in medium and even small are not that great a fit.

I'd say buy from somewhere with free returns. Order a few then send back the ones that don't fit.

6’6” and a hundred tonnes, the undisputed king of the slums...

Sorry, nothing to add but the two posts above made me think of Carter USM & Sheriff Fatman. Carry on...

+1 to what survivor said, along with a recommendation for 7idp control pads from CRC. I'm a bit shorter and a bit heavier than you, with a pair of tree trunks holding me up. I usually struggle with most pads but their XL size fit like a glove.

Dianese trail skins in xl are fairly big. That said it really is dependant on your lower vs upper legs.

worth noting that you want them to be pretty snug out the box or you'll be finding them round your ankles in 6 months time. 5-10 and about 12 stone, wearing fox launch in s/m.
