Looking at options and also considering potential upgrades. Is this a pretty well universal standard now or do you get 130mm spaced rear disc hubs (and thus frames to match)

Some older disc hubs were 130mm. Pretty rare to find that these days.
My VN Amazon is spaced at 132.5mm so it can take either standard.

It is pretty much a universal standard now but it isn't 100%.
FWIW, I had a 135mm hub in a 130mm frame without any issues.
