As in could I replace a set of fox 32 29er uppers with a set of fox 32 26er ones ? I seem to recall reading somewhere that it's only the lowers that are longer for a given wheelsize? Thanks.

Way too little info to answer that.

Huh!? at nixies post.

I'm guessing 29er uppers would be longer for any amount of travel.

My Rebas appear to be 26er forks with an extra little tube on the bottom to move the droupout further down.

They are pretty old though.

Some might be, others won't be. Will depend heavily on which exact forks the op is talking about. Hence not enough info.

Interested in this myself, as I'm thinking about using a Pike 26 or 27.5 steerer crown on my Pike 29er to change the offset. Ie Whyte bikes is running a 43mm offset on their Pike 29ers as are the new Transition 29ers.
My 29er Pike is 140mm.
