Going on holiday there in a couple of weeks. Should I take the Road bike or the mountain bike?

It's all good and you could even head across to Mull from Kilchoan.
Road. Spent a day on our tour riding there up to Mallaig. Fantastic.
Take your spinning rod too. Good mackerel to be had from Kilchoan Pier 😀

We had a few days up there in July, stunning scenery! I'd take a road bike personally.
Make sure that you get to Sanna beach
limited MTB options TBH. Not zero - you've got stuff around Acharachle, Strontian over to Loch Shiel, but it is limited. Probably road bike would be way to go. Cross bike even betterer.
