does anyone know if you can park in the camping grounds, i read an old information article stating cars not allowed in camping field, no mention of this on yesterdays email..

the reason i ask is i dont have a van so bikes will be fastened to car rack and away from us.. if this is the case.

otherwise how difficult is the course compared to ardrock, different or about the same, less sharp rocks

2 years ago you parked next to tent, unsure if it has changed

I've kinda asked the same question - I will be with my van which i used last year and it was fine...

Think the restriction is just on caravans - cant' see them making a "camping" field and a parking field....

its pretty tight though, wouldnt want to try and get a caravan in...

As for the course; It depends on how wet it is!

The tracks are not particularly challenging - unless its a complete washout like last year.
Definitely less rocks!

Campers were parked next to their tents the last two years that I've been. 'Day parkers' are in a separate field.

Fewer rocks than 'Ard Rock. A lot fewer! It's more, moorland sort of trails with some bermy stuff cut here and there and a woodland section for the last half of stage 1 (the odd root but just a regular 'through the woods' type trail). Some of it picks up the old NPS DH trails but again, nothing that you wouldn't come across on a regular moorland ride

WHat are conditions like this year? I tried to do it last year but it was a washout and I only did the practice stages! I would love to go back again and give it another go.

Last year you could park where you camped.

due to lack of rocks, exo should be enough.

to be fair, exo was enough for me at Ardrock & Naughty Northumbrian too - maybe I'm lucky....

Confirmed - Campervans are fine.

Just had a response from the ArdEvents team.

Assuming car/tent is the same too - as previous years.
