I'm thinking about getting getting the 5.3l Apidura Expedition frame bag. I intend for it to hold pump, lunch, wallet, mobile, camera (although considering getting a small top-tube bag for camera and mobile).
From experience how do think they'd withstand daily commuting for years? I have a shallow lunch box which should fit in the bag, but how easy would it be to fit objects (21x14x5.5cm) like that through the opening?
Was using a 4l Ortlieb waterproof frame bag (posted about the other day) but the zip has broken. I could fit the lunch box into that, but with the pump in as well it was a little awkward due to the shape which is why I'm looking at the Expedition as I think the shape will be better.
If you have any thoughts (especially experience based) on using it for daily commuting I'd be interested to hear. Thanks!
For commuting, I prefer luggage I can easily remove. Panniers or a saddlebag.

I don't. I prefer the weight distributed over both wheels rather than the rear, but anyway that's not what I'm asking!
