and no, i can't/don't want to do it myself (lack of workshop type space in my flat prohibits that)- they're '08 model but have had the internals replaced under warranty, and i know TFT won't touch them but would any LBS worth its salt do so, or am i gonna have to send em to windwave?

nowt really, i just thought i'd prefer to give the business to one of the south manc LBS's if they did it as well.
