Need to replace the mounting bolts for my m775 caliper. Seen some on flea bay but bit long and don't want to have to cut them. CRC do one for £4 which seems steep but struggling to find a better price. SJS do them for £2 but £2.50 delivery. Before you ask my LBS and I are not on speaking terms after an argument whereby they thought it was ok for a crown race to be loose and able to be removed by hand.

if it's just a standard hex head M6 bolt you're after and not the funny plastic lock bits then just go down to your local hardware store, they're pennies...

Halfrauds and screwfix seem to do crank bolts or long allen key bolts but nothing this short? Unless I;ve missed something which is entirely possible. I'll give them a shout

As has been said local fastners.

Failing that type - 'socket m6' into eBay and find the correct one. There are currently over 3000 listed.

Doesn't a hex head need a spanner/socket? Not great for trailside repairs

google a local fixings and fasteners specialist local to you. rock up and ask for one. they will charge you roughly 50p. how long do you need it? as in length of the bolt not length of time 😀

.7mm won't happen get the saw out. The length is from the shoulder of the socket. Get a 20mm and put a washer in there if you don't want to cut it

does everyone not have handfulls of these in their tool box? They are the same size as old canti bolts and length wise, you just use washers non?
