You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Having had best part of 3 years out with disc (the painful ones) issues, just wondered whats new in Welsh Wales....
I have done most of the established trail centres, brenin, mach, brecfa, arian, cwm carn, gwyder.....
used to love afan (glyncorrwg side) too..
could ANYONE motivate me to drive the 100 odd miles now diesel is more cash that titanium??
Ride everything but the trail centres? Definitely recommended the Doethie though if its rained a lot I would avoid it as it gets very eroded and slippy.

You ask what's new XC wise then list trail centres, a bit strange. STW has done a few pieces recently on true Welsh XC including Black Mountains and Pembrokeshire, look up the back issues.
I think it makes sense for someone coming back from injury to have access roads for recovery and waypoint markers to pinpoint their position if something did in wrong on the first trip away from local rides.
The short answer is no fella. South Wales is in developmen t after a huge felling program.
There will be new trails next year though.
