As per the title.
I’ve seen the photo story on another site about the World Cup track being removed.
Is there anything worth riding left there at the moment?
There loads of great trails there. Trailforks is your friend
What kind of trails are you looking for?
I was there last Sunday and most of the red was open and running fantastic.
Currently a free bike wash in the new car park.
I'm there in 2 weeks time with some kids - varying ages and abilities...I'm hoping there is plenty there as I've lost track of what there is and haven't been for over a year anyway...
Well I had a great day last week riding some of the off piste & black stuff.
Ok, so most of the red and the black are still open then?
Don’t really want off-piste, just an easy to navigate fitness ride.
It's a bit disrupted because of the closures at the buzzard's nest car park ie the exact middle of the trails. But you can still ride the whole red, and much of the black. (Boundary Trail got pretty well smashed by storm arwen and is still closed, though you can use Five Year Plan instead, Deliverance likewise has its main descent closed but you can use Mild Peril instead, and there's a diversion on the climb) And the jumps area is all gone.
The main impact for me has just been that it's harder to connect up trails in the way GT's normally so great for.
Thanks for all the answers.

The climb has been open as normal for a while now.
Are the blues still all accessible? I'm assuming the climb from bottom car park is still ok if a bit long (thinking about youngsters)...is Trailforks properly updated?
Got 2 weeks to go but don't fancy turning up and nothing is accessible for the kids.
Yep, the climb from the bottom car park was all open a couple of weeks ago.
From a blue protective the only diversion is at the end of blue velvet.
The mild peril diversion on the black was bloody brilliant. Thanks to everyone who built that. I loved that but of trail.
I was there last sunday managed to ride Zorro, Trailfairy Plan , Hush Hush , Mild peril then back uo for Ho Chi Min and Careless whisper. Only the wet weather ruled out a couple of old favourites . I noticed the uplift was running which might be handy for the kids.

Ah, phrased that poorly! I mean there's a diversion elsewhere on the climb, because of the cabin works- soor plooms basically.
Further to the many great trails at Glentress that are still open and awesome, I think it's actually happening! New trails opening from this Saturday according to FLS website. In the p*ssing rain according to the Met Office.
Great preview from Street Pigeon
Not the trails I'm interested in but good for kids (assuming the climb up isn't too bad) and those that like berms.
We're getting a tour tomorrow, glad it's finally happening
Those new trails look like great fun. Its a real shame that Buzzard's Nest is going, but these new trails look like a great addition

Go natural, loads of stuff in/around Peebles - where are you driving from though, maybe good stuff on the way?
it was wet last friday, puddles galore, spooky wood had a puddle on every feature. otherwise pretty dry.
just watched that vid of the new trails. I guess I'm not in the right demographic, they just give me the fear !
I can imagine the local A&E Dept is going to get very busy...
Looks very similar to a lot of the flow/jump trails at Bike Park Wales and the video footage I've seen of Tarland up in Aberdeenshire. Makes perfect sense that they've gone down this route, as there's already plenty of steep tech nearby.
Are most of the new trails up above the bike/cafe centre? On the video the ending with the three tunnels has what looks like the bike shop in the background.
Yeah it would be good to see a map, to place the new trails relative to the existing stuff and work out how it would all link together
EDIT, found one

There's now another diversion on the climb from Buzzards.
So now the diversion is diverted. 😂
A mate rode the new trails in the week and said they were pretty good fun.
All official before anyone gets the wrong idea.
