Yes.. About 7-8 months ago with ubyk. Had a new one within 10 days of posting my old one off.

Yep, through local bike shop though who swapped for a new one they had in stock. So unlikely to be of help to you, but echos the importance of a shop to me

+1 for local bike shops but our LBS isn't really very 'L' unfortunately! CRC are just going to send a replacement out, which is nice.

From another thread, that's what CRC seem to do. Let you keep old one and send another one out. Try servicing the old one mate, nothing to lose?

A few days. Warrantied it when it broke after just 3 months use. It just wouldn't return to full height. It was acting like the air pressure is too low, yet on the 120mm drop version, there is nowhere to add any air.

^^ Really?

I never had to look for it admittedly but I still thought the 120mm version had an air valve buried away at the top of the shaft?

The replacement arrived yesterday, which I'm properly impressed at. I'll have a look inside the old one when I get a chance to spend some time looking for the little spoingly things that will undoubtedly spoing everywhere when I open it... I think it's just something broken inside the release mechanism where the cable goes because the lever doesn't do anything (cable's ok, lever's ok) and the post is stuck in the 'up' position.
