Hiya chaps,

Is anyone using BETD's needle bearing for the shock eyelets?

Looks like this...

I used one in the past, but the sealing wasn't ideal, so went back to PTFE bushings. Can't say I noticed much difference, given the limited rotatation I'm not sure its was any better than a bush.

I think it makes more difference on linkage driven single pivot designs....

Mine was fitted to a 2004 Enduro on the lower shock mount, so yes, limited rotational movement.

not a BETD one... i had one of the Real world cycling (based in the US) on my commencal Meta 55..

the seals with the RWC version look a bit better than the BETD ones in that picture..

on the plus side it transformed the small bump sensitivity of the Meta..

on the downside it did require a lot more looking after..
Ie a strip down clean and re-grease after every couple of rides.. and that was with using Maxima Waterproof Grease..
