Just got a set of K-Traze pads. First ride out for a few hours and all seemed good. Took them off, gave them a wash and realised that that both pads had started curling up inside the pockets. Trying to flatten them back out seemed to have limited effect and they just curled back up again. It’s not the whole pad doing it, just the thinner sections around the outside, however it still properly annoying. Anyone else ever found this, or have a way of sorting it?
If you're referring to the main knee pad and it's the same material as the previous k-pacts / k-lites the pad becomes malleable when warmed up (body temperature) and almost sets as it cools down.
Used to find them all kinds of funny shapes when I just chucked them in the car after a ride.
It was along the lines of that, but there seemed to be barely enough room in the pocket to make the pad sit as it should. They were warm at the time so I suppose that could be part of the issue. No idea what shape they’re sitting in now
