I must be honest, I use the match makers for the clean look on the bars as much as anything else. However, I'm starting to think that the shifters might be more comfortable back on their silver mounts between brakes and grips. Anyone else found this?
I know It's tatty but I'm reluctant to put silver clamps back on carbon bars with black brake levers and lock ons.
Depends do you ride the bike or sit and admire it?
Generally proper set up trumps looks.

Thread done.
I did and went back to separates as they were far comfier and felt they worked better.
Fitted a few, and not been entirely happy with the position either, but i'm not entirely happy with the position of anything with Tech levers.A quick coat of primer, and top coat of satin black solved a similar problem with a silver Hope brake mount, and black fork/caliper.
I use them, and they work fine. I run the brakes a long way inboard - if that makes a difference?
I run my brakes a long way inboard as well. So much so that I find it a bit of a reach for the shifters at times. Think I might have to put the original mounts back on. Coatesy, Mr Barton, thanks for the feedback. Good to know I'm not the only one.
Anyone know a good anodiser for small parts?
