Any good?

Seem to be the nearest design to SRAM XX1.

Dropped the chain 4 times on the last ride so enough is enough

They all seem to work about as well as each other (apart form some that have weird demands on what chains you can use). All other Blackspire rings I've had have been good, but I ended up with a Works n/w because they were some of the first with them.

I know Absolute Black do them in 64/104/110 & 130BCD, plus Spiderless.
Not seen anyone doing 80BCD.

Maybe contact Works components to see if they can do a one-off.

Already tried absolute black and although willing to do one eventually they're a bit flat out At the mo... So could be quite a wait there too. Ta for the tip tho!.

Likewise at works I presume, didn't even get a reply.

I'll get back onto the importer for another forecast for what its worth.

What about 'Vectiox' as a bit of a fledgling company they may be willing to do one,use you as a Guinea Pig.

Quick email enquiry would only take 2 mins, you know the saying "if you dont ask,you dont get".

Or just seen these by FRM supposedly in a Sram 76?BTD

And some company in Taiwan called X.K.M

Yeah good point, there are quite a few 120/80mm bcd raceface and sram cranksets out there so was hopeful someone might take it on. But yes your right I'll give Vectiox a go too.

Haha I have even toyed with the idea of drilling out a 76mm bcd sram xx1 ring but at £50 ish it feels a bit too much of a risk, especially as the holes are threaded!.

To answer the original post. Yes I've got one. Works really well except when riding in super deep mud. The chain then seems unable to fit on the teeth and comes off. Don't think this is exclusive to Blackspire as my mate has had same problems with a hope one.

Anyone else had this with narrow wides?

Good News, Just got an email from Charlie, direct at Blackspire and he indicated about 10 days and the 80bcd version will be sent to CRC, wohoo! 🙂
