I'm looking for a new 29er wheelset. I want Hope but they're over budget and have found a pair of these, slightly over budget still but more affordable. I've had Crossrides before and got on well with them, just wondered if these are any good?

I've got a set of these as they came on my Cannonade F29. They're OK in a very middle of the road way.
Not overly heavy or especially light either. Rim strips they come with are fairly easy to convert to tubeless. 19mm internal width is quite narrow though. They look alright too.
Potential downsides are they feel a bit flexy but I weigh 15st without my camelback on. Only 2 pawl engagement on the rear hub but can't say I've noticed this being a problem.
In short, they're average. I'll be keeping them until they break and will then upgrade to something better.
Went with Hope on 719's in the end. Out of my price range but would have got them eventually so might as well be now.
