I was wondering if anyone has used one of these widgets?. Spotted them on SJS a couple of days ago, wondering how well it works?.
Thought it would be ideal for a potential winter project, drop barred 29er setup using bits from the spares bin. Or clutch meching the cross bike, gets a bit clattery on rougher bridleways.
I'm using a JTek model 4 shiftmate to run Campag Chorus 11 speed levers with an XTR 9 speed rear mech.
The shiftmate works brilliantly, would recommend them 🙂

Yep, as above, those J-tek Shiftmates are brilliant. Currently using one to run a 9 speed Campag mech and ergo lever with a 9 speed shimano spaced cassette. Flawless, smooth shifting 🙂

The only thing I wasn't so sure about was increased friction, more so from the clutch mech with an STI.
