Anyone used Lifeline brake hoses?

I need to lengthen the brake hoses on my Avid/SRAM XO brakes (circa 2013). The official stuff seems silly money, so any reports on the Lifeline kits that Criggle sell? So long as it doesn't bulge in use or break when I look at it I'll be happy enough.

Aye, they're fine.

Got a set on a bike with 4 pots and no issues whatsoever over the last couple of years they have been fitted.

Yep they're ok. Not quite as nicely finished as the original hose but fine.

just fitted a set to a pair of 2 pot XTs and are absolutely fine. Bought for exactly the same reasons as you - OE ones are frighteningly expensive now. I'd say quality wise, they're not a whole lot different to the XT (SM-BH90?) ones, a touch less nice maybe. If anything, the banjo fitting feels a bit nicer than the XT!

Also had good experiences with the random Chinese ones off of Amazon - got a Saint copy one (cos really wanted to keep the gold banjo...) and couldn't tell the difference.

I've got some Sram Guide brakes - the rear brake has been cut right at the banjo and the banjo bit has been lost...so I'm really just needing the bits to attach hose to banjo and get the banjo attached to caliper - not got them in front pf me but would these do the job? If so, it appears to be about half the price of the Sram solution so is a lot more appealing.

Better reviews here then.

no one had issues??

On CRC there’s someone mentioning inability to seal the banjo on sram code at the caliper end also a hose actually bursting on first try - luckily before riding - in the shed. Maybe it’s worth buying the OEM hoses!
