I'm thinking about getting some additional security for a cargo bike and this was suggested by the dealer (obviously will be used in addition to big lock etc.).
There are some details on the manufacturer site here - I haven't found much in the way of info or reviews but the concept sounds good, i.e. it runs off the e-bike battery so has a much longer life than some of the standalone tracker devices you can get like Sherlock or Boomerang.

Just to bump this. I've just got a hold of a Tern GSD and looking to get one of these installed. Anyone have any experience of the trackers yet?

I have a PowUnity BikeTrax. Does what it says on the tin. Depending on the motor it is going on there are various wiring kits, I have Bosch Gen2 and there is a piggyback connector for the display connection but I went with a universal lead and soldered it to a front light lead as I though it was nearer
It come with a backup battery that charges when the bike is powered up and lasts 2-3 weeks
The only thing I’ve found wrong is the app (iOS) is sometimes slow to update when you lock or unlock the tracker
I’m pretty happy with it and will probably pay the monthly fee when the included year expires
It amused me when I reviewed the GPS file after the first ride that it included the car journey there and back 😂
Pretty much what Beaker said, I had my Nicolai ebike supplied with the Powunity fitted, so I can't comment on the fitting.
It was a proper PITA to get the app to connect and complete the initial set up, but you only need to do that once, after that there's no connection needed between your phone and the tracker, it's all handled over it's own data connection.
The map does sometimes lag a little, but it's impressively fast in notifying when the bike is moved, often takes less than a metre.
I'll definitely be renewing at the end of the year, and also fitting another to my wife's Liv ebike.
Well worth it given the somewhat insane prices for these things!
Yep, I had trouble with the initial connection, seems the tracker had gone to sleep and I had to move the bike to wake it up, connected first time then. If I was doing another I’d pair it before I fitted it
