Just wondering how the velvet compares to more common offerings from fox and rs. Anyone bought one or tried one recently?
I just bought a velour (re-badged velvet r) from the states .. not here yet though.
By all accounts they are a superb XC fork for the cash, and stand up to a lot of hammer - as evidenced by their use by so many Dirt Jumpers.
Upgrade has just begun to import them into the UK, so thankfully spares should be a little more available.
Let me know how you get on with the velour when it arrives. I'm coming from a basic coil fork which doesn't have any compression adjustment,the velvet doesn't either. Am I missing out here, how important is compression adjustment anyway? Anyone else used an x-fusion fork?
