I'm looking to buy a GRX groupset, but you can't buy it bundled with postmount calipers. I was thinking of using hopes RX4 calipers and wondered if anyone had any experience of using them.
Thanks in advance.
Yup, they're great. I've had both Shimano and the RX4 and the RX4 is def more powerful.
Yes, I have them with R7000 stis. Brilliant calipers - very powerful and seem much less prone to squeal than shimano (if my clubmates' bikes are anything to go by).
I have some.
Better than Shimano and easier to set to avoid rubbing.
Not much in it power wise.
Bleeding the front was easy, the rear was a pain.
Rear caliper failed at the pad bolt. Salt corrosion possibly a factor.
Where did you get them from?
There are a few places that only seem to have 1 in stock.
I'm have 2 sets of post mount Shimano version calipers on 2 ebikes. Very good so far.
One thing to be aware of is I believe the Sram version uses odd pads, whereas the Shimano is normal E4 pads.
Fitting is a little bit of a fiddle as the barbed hose adapter is for a slightly bigger diameter  hose than the shimano bh90 but it works fine.
