Is it actually waterproof and breathable?

For £60?

Or is it just like anything else that isn't goretex and will start to leak after 5 minutes of persistent rain?

Used one for the torrential ridelondon100. I was suprises how dry I was, and not too sweaty although I was warm, just a bit around the next of my club top underneath.

I'd expect a bit warm, you can't avoid it with a waterproof usually. Good to know it seems reasonably waterproof though, cos it seems cheap for what it is.

You wait til you get it. its thin enough for you to worry about where your £60 went. But the bah it comes in doubles as a handy iPhone bag when you have the jacket on.

Yeah I have one for the road bike. It's firmly in the condom category and I've only used it as an emergency jacket for rain showers - ie I haven't worn it for longer than an hour or so at a time. But it does seem to work as advertised, waterproof and breathable. It feels very thin although the material has a nice stretchy, almost rubbery, premium feel. I doubt it would survive a decent fall though.

Note about the sizing - it's not quite as tight fitting as I might like. I had to go for the large to get an appropriate torso length and it's slightly flappy in wind. I am 6' /12 st- usually between med and large in most jerseys.
