I'm looking for something to attach to my bonce, these look good at 1000lm for four hours, for £35, and from a reputable shop rather than the eBay lucky dip. Anyone use one?

Seems too good to be true. Really 4 hours at 1000 lumens and 166grams? Assuming that’s an 1850 battery that pisses all over my Exposure Axis which is 1100 or 1200 lumens ish but only 1.5 hours runtime at that power.

Interesting…

1) how would it attach to a helmet?
2) it appears at £45 for me!?

Might fit an exposure mount if the diameter is about right.

It's impossible surely with that output and battery capacity?

Yes. I haven't gone as far as looking at the graph of o/p vs. current but they list max power for that led as 10w which will yield max o/p of 1150 lumens. That will I expect be for the highest performing LEDs which might be what they are fitting. Working back gives you approx 3A for max output so about an hour rather optimistically for the battery spec. stated.

Yes

Yes, you're using one, or yes, it's impossible?
