As above, my GF has seen these and fancies one for her gravel bike. She is limited to 38mm tyres at the rear, so she thought one if these would make a difference to her comfort.

Any feedback greatly appreciated

Ian

I'm put off the Cane Creek posts after the rattle that my Thudbuster ST developed.

Extra UK sorted it first time round for free but then it developed again within maybe 500km.

Puts me off that style of linkage, would prefer a Redshift now.

I got an old Rockshox elastomer one for a tenner off ebay. Works pretty well actually on my cx bike with a 30mm tyre Could see if there's another? Cheap way to test the suspension seatpost idea.

I’ve got a Thudbuster ST G4 on my gravel bike and it’s a great addition. No creaking though need to keep the elastomer occasionally greased to stop it squeaking.

And the single rail clamp design was a pain to start with, and kept working loose on every ride until I used some anti slip carbon paste and it’s not budged since.

Used a thudbuster (ST) on my hardtail for years,I think they are great except when using some seatpacks. That eeSilk post looks perfect for taking out gravel/fire road buzz and may be more seatpack friendly.Re thudbuster rattle, you can get rid of it by using some inner tube bands to hold it down in tension, but it usually means that it needs new bushings.

It seems like the elastomer part is always applying some force to the moving linkage so hopefully no rattle.

I will check again and see what service kits are like...

Thanks
