Thinking about getting some as my react 3/4 waterproof shorts are always needing pulled up !
Yep, ronseal they work well but if wearing a pack be aware bending down can cause the rear to unvelcro as its pinned by the bag.
Better option I've found and used since are the 'plastic elastic braces' on eBay, fit all my waterproof kit (mt500 trousers and 3/4 event shorts) same rice and very secure
I use some Stihl chainsaw trouser braces which have snap clips - well made and seemingly bomb proof.

I found the Altura braces a bit short and had to extend them with another piece of velcro in order avoid the 'self wedgie' when bending over! 😳
